About the Artist

Debbie Templeton-Page, originally from Tasmania with Aboriginal heritage, relocated to New Zealand in her twenties. Since 1999, she has passionately pursued sculpting as her primary artistic expression. Working tirelessly as a full-time sculptor and tutor, Debbie operates from her studio/gallery on York Street in Timaru.

Primarily showcasing her works in the South Canterbury region, Debbie's artistic journey extended to Italy in 2004. During her residency, she participated in a sculpture course, honing her craft in marble and alabaster. Her unique sculptures, a fusion of cultural influences and personal creativity, adorn homes both locally and across international borders.

Debbie's artistic prowess extends beyond geographical boundaries, leaving an indelible mark on the art world through her distinctive and captivating sculptures.
